HELMUT, PETER and EDGAR are old friends, but after a holiday in the Italian city of Rimini in 1971 they hardly had any contact. Fifty years later, the friendship experienced a renaissance: the death of Helmut’s wife and a letter written by the deceased led the men back to the Italian resort to follow in the footsteps of the letter.
